Virginia C. Smith

Virginia is the author of The Dolphin Lady™ - a true story about her 18 year relationship with a pod of wild spinner dolphins in the ocean waters of Hawaii.
She is also a renowned trainer and business-career coach.

I am an everyday woman whose been blessed with an extraordinary experience. I truly have been very blessed.

I grew up in a military family and traveled the world. Most of my career has been spent in the Telecommunications industry. During the last eight years I have owned my own consulting-training business and have had some amazing adventures as I once again traveled the world. In 2003 I introduced career coaching as another tool to work with many of you. It also became a vehicle to reach and coach the many executives being layed off within the Telecommunications industry. I love what I do and my passion for bringing the teachings that I have been gifted with into the coaching partnership has been so rewarding!

Some of my personal and professional credentials include:

• 20+ years in the telecommunications industry as Director and Manager of training. I have worked with such corporate giants as AT&T, MCI, Sprint, BCTel, GTE and WorldCom.
• 8+ years as president of my own consulting company, Training Insights, Inc. Training Insight’s customer base consists of many fortune 100/500 companies such as: AT&T International, BCTEL/Telus, British Telecom, Cable and Wireless, China Unicom, Cisco, Concert, Deutsche Telecom, France Telecom, Fujitsu, Global Crossing, KPN, Level 3, Lucent, MCI, McLeodUSA Inc., MTNL, Nortel, Nextel, Optus, Qualcomm, Reliance Infocomm Limited, Sprint, SBC, Telstra Australia, Time Warner Telecom, TMNG-The Management Network Group, Qwest, UUnet, Verizon, VSNL, and WorldCom.
• I have traveled to more than 20+ countries to include living abroad in India.
• 6+ years in the motivational industry. I have facilitated and conducted over 80 workshops. I was a program manager for production teams supporting well known speakers such as Tony Robins, Randy Revell, Dennis Hilton, Jim Sorenson.
